
A leading regional bank introduced a new mobile banking application designed to help users manage their finances easily, quickly, and securely — anytime and anywhere. The project marked an important step in the modernization of the bank’s digital channels and represented a significant improvement in the overall mobile banking experience.
As a long-standing technology partner, ASEE supported the transition to a modern native mobile application through the Digital Edge platform, enabling greater speed, stability, scalability, and flexibility for future development. The project was built through close collaboration and a strong focus on the evolving expectations of both retail and business users.
The new mobile banking solution was developed as a “2-in-1” application for both private and business customers. Through a single interface, users can access account balances and transactions, account details, statements, and a quick balance overview without logging in, simplifying everyday banking activities and improving access to key information.
The application includes a broad range of payment functionalities, such as internal, domestic, and international payments, currency exchange services, eCash transfers from revolving limits, and payment installment options. Advanced card management features allow users to activate cards, block or unblock them, request replacements, and manage card limits, while biometric authentication adds an additional layer of convenience and security.
To support better financial habits, the application also includes savings-related functionalities such as Activate Small Change. Business users additionally benefit from features such as creditworthiness certificate requests and access to EFTPOS statements.
The new application introduced major improvements in performance, visual design, and everyday usability. Faster login, optimized responsiveness, and a refreshed interface contribute to a simpler, more intuitive, and more enjoyable banking experience.
Initial user feedback highlighted noticeable improvements in usability and application speed, helping make everyday banking interactions more efficient and seamless.
Together, these functionalities provide users with greater real-time control over their finances while improving convenience, speed, and security.
In addition to Google Play and the Apple App Store, the application is also available through Huawei AppGallery, ensuring wider accessibility and a consistent experience across devices and operating systems.
